PADI Divemaster E-learning
PADI Divemaster eLearning Course
What does it cover?
Becoming a PADI Divemaster consists of the following segments: knowledge development, practical application and the Divemaster final exam. The online portion of the course, PADI Divemaster Online, covers nine topics that prepare a candidate for the practical sessions needed to complete the Divemaster course.
How does it work?
PADI's eLearning system presents the candidate with interactive presentations including: videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes help the candidate gauge progress and review topics to move through the program efficiently and at their own pace.
The eLearning segment of the course is available for one year from the time of course registration. The online portion of the course must be copmpleted within that time frame, however, the candidate has perpetual access to an online version of the PADI Divemaster manual.
What else is required to become a PADI Divemaster?
To complete the PADI Divemaster course, the candidate will need a current PADI Instructor Manual, both the RDP table and eRDPML, the Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, and a set of the PADI Divemaster slates.
Once the candidate successfully completes Divemaster Online, there are several practical assessments, workshops and other assignments with a PADI Instructor. The candidate must also complete the Divemaster Final Exam and meet the professionalism criteria.
How do you document completion of the eLearning segment?
At the end of the eLearning program, the candidate will print a copy of their eRecord showing completion of all sections.
