Once you have completed eLearning make an appointment to meet with one of our Nitrox instructors and complete the hands-on part of your certification.

An eLearning Access Pass will be sent via e-mail within hours after purchase, usually immediately. IMPORTANT: Please email our training coordinator at dive@saccityscuba.com with your date of birth so we may send you your eLearning pass. After completing the eLearner program students schedule a few minutes with us to complete certification. That's it!. No equipment purchases are needed for this class. We recommend that you bring in and use your own dive computer. Or, borrow one of ours.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

What will you learn?

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, and two optional (or required) scuba dives, you’ll:

Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

This certification allows you to dive using up to a 40% Nitrox (EAN) gas mixture.

After enrollment, your PADI Nitrox eLearning passcode will be emailed to you shortly.

Prerequisite: You must have an open water certification and be aged 12 years old or older.
